"I cannot speak highly enough of David. He is brilliant, yet accessible. He let my son pontificate while always returning him to the task at hand. My son, Saul, was 16 when he said, 'I love the collaborative effort with David. Learning is so much more interesting.' My son has an IQ of 140, yet has ADHD that is so debilitating that he struggled to focus. Several teachers told me, 'I wish I had a classroom full of Sauls,' or 'he doesn’t need HS English,' etc. Meanwhile, he was failing because he lacked organizational and time management skills. David was a tremendous help with these issues as well. He understood how to reach my son and sparked a love of research and in-depth learning, where previously Saul felt school was 'just jumping through hoops.' I could go on and on about David’s intellect, character, insight and dedication. Suffice it to say, he was absolutely central to my son’s success in graduating from LOHS. We are forever in his debt."
