We listen deeply, follow the student’s lead, and offer students the tools and structure to explore and succeed. Our credentialed tutors serve as partners and mentors in the student’s learning, combining subject expertise and patient encouragement to deliver a superior experience.
Under our guidance, students become reflective learners who can build and execute effective study plans. They learn to navigate the world of information by developing critical thinking. They write clearly and argue persuasively, with a nuanced appreciation for the uses of language. In sum, they develop the skills that will lead them to thrive in college and become lifelong learners. Ideas are not simply academic but practical and transformational, touching every aspect of society: our students learn the inquiry and problem-solving skills needed to become active citizens in the 21st century.

He tutored a group of high school kids (Juniors and freshman) for the entire year at our homes. He is very patient, highly knowledgeable and motivated the kids. David is excellent. Extremely organized, and the only English tutor I met that provides detailed information about the learning progress of his students. Thanks David for the support throughout this "new" normal learning environment.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Diana SI cannot speak highly enough of David. He is brilliant, yet accessible. He let my son pontificate while always returning him to the task at hand. My son, Saul, was 16 when he said, “I love the collaborative effort with David. Learning is so much more interesting. My son has an IQ of 140, yet has ADHD that is so debilitating that he struggled to focus. Several teachers told me, “I wish I had a classroom full of Sauls,” or “he doesn’t need HS English,” etc. Meanwhile, he was failing because he lacked organizational and time management skills. David was a tremendous help with these issues as well. He understood how to reach my son and sparked a love of research and in-depth learning, where previously Saul felt school was “just jumping through hoops.” I could go on and on about David’s intellect, character, insight and dedication. Suffice it to say, he was absolutely central to my son’s success in graduating from LOHS. We are forever in his debt.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.G BDr. Wolf developed a unique lesson plan tailored to our son's interests and specific needs. Dr. Wolf was reliable, prepared, professional, and most importantly, engaged and engaging during every session. We are very pleased with the results: a big step up in ability, confidence, and a new interest in reading for its own sake.
