Our Mission

At Tutor Visions, we believe students should be the pilots of their learning, with parents, teachers, and tutors as their guides. We listen deeply, follow the student’s lead, and offer students the tools and structure to explore and succeed. Our credentialed tutors serve as partners and mentors in the student’s learning, combining subject expertise and patient encouragement to deliver a superior experience.

Under our guidance, students become reflective learners who can build and execute effective study plans. They learn to navigate the world of information by developing critical thinking. They write clearly and argue persuasively, with a nuanced appreciation for the uses of language. In sum, they develop the skills that will lead them to thrive in college and become lifelong learners. Ideas are not simply academic but practical and transformational, touching every aspect of society: our students learn the inquiry and problem-solving skills needed to become active citizens in the 21st century.
